we are proactive, courageous and engage in our company's affairs. We take responsibility for our decisions and treat it as a privilege, not an obligation. Our common successes give us satisfaction. The #GreatPlaceToWork survey, examining the involvement of Onex employees, showed the entire organization feels this important factor at the level of 84%.
Loyalty
the well-being of the company and employees is the most important to us. We care about positive and long-term relationships with customers. Not forgetting the interior of the Onex Group - last year our employees rotation was only 6%.
Respect
we respect diversity, we are polite and tolerant of each other, regardless of the circumstances, skin color, religion, political views, gender, sexual orientation or disability. We show appreciation and we are cultured.
Transparency
we are guided by honesty and sincerity in cooperation with customers and with each other. By organizing regular “AllHands meetings” in which each of the Onex members takes part, we create a space that we can use to ask questions, conduct discussions or express our opinions.
Growth
we are curious about the world and eager to deepen our qualifications. Each of us has our own interests and passions - apart from the lack of a strict budget framework, which we spend on training and certificates, additionally every year each Onex member has the opportunity to finance their passion, which does not necessarily have to be related to work.
Trust
we trust customers and each other. We assume good intentions and believe in our own abilities. Self-organizing teams and the way they make decisions - these are the spaces in which each of the Onex members can feel at ease.
Our story
It all started in 2001 with a simple Windows XP website. From the very beginning, created by hobbyists and enthusiasts, it turned into the most popular Microsoft technology portal in Poland - CentrumXP.
In 2005, the hobby and passion turned into a professional activity - and this is how Onex Group was created.
Our culture and principles
Performance independent salary
in our company, we gather people who are internally motivated and for whom work is not only a way to earn money, but above all a passion. People for whom work is a pleasure do not need to be motivated, so the money that employees in another company receive as a basis and a bonus commission depending on the results, we pay them in the form of a satisfactory basis for you and we add a bonus for exceeding expectations. Additionally, we do not consider "penalties" for target failure.
Teamwork
playing to one goal sounds like straight out of the book, but we base our game on facts - we do not have individual goals - we turn them into team goals, thanks to which we do not create mutual competition, allowing ourselves to achieve success freely.
Structure
the basic organizational unit in the company are teams whose task is to organize their own work. Each team has its coordinator, whose role is to lead the team so that its members can focus on their work and best use their strengths and competences.
Growth and careers
there are no traditional career paths in our company. This does not mean that we are not developing, it is quite the opposite. We work on ourselves and improve our abilities and skills all the time. We listen and we are curious about the direction in which we want to develop, offering the right tools and the necessary space. We want everyone to play the role in which they work best and which gives them the greatest satisfaction.
Transparency and Trust
one of our core values and we take them very seriously. How? We have no secrets. All decisions made are presented to the entire Organization - each of us takes part in monthly “AllHands meetings” during which, we can ask about everything and the owner of Onex Group or the person responsible for the decision will provide answers.
Decisions making
our principle is simple: decisions (including those about corporate expenses) are made where there is a need to make them, by the people who should make them. This means that if something is within the limits of the competence of a specific person, then only he or she decides about it - he does not ask anyone for consent or approval. If you are a specialist in a given field and you come to our company, it is not for us to tell you what to do, but for you to teach us.
